Parish Commissions & Ministries                             

St. Bede is a parish faith community that reaches out through our many ministries to our parishioners as well as to our community as a means to bring Jesus Christ to all!

The Parish Pastoral Council consists of four Parish Commissions each with specific goals to help implement their portion of the five-year plan.

Within each of the four commissions there are many individual ministries all of which make up St. Bede Parish Faith Community. Many of the faithful from the parish volunteer their time and talent in these ministries and are always looking for additional help. The four Parish Commissions and their purposes are as follows:

•  The Education Commission - purpose is to plan and coordinate the parish's educational mission.  Catholic Education Ministries

•  The Human Concerns Commission - purpose is to promote and interpret the church's teaching about social issues and to involve parishioners in helping to meet the social needs of the community. Human Concern Ministries

• The Parish Life Commission - purpose is to support the life of the parish, bring church members together, and to help reach out to the alienated and the un-churched. Parish Life Ministries

• The Spiritual Life Commission - purpose is to support the pastor, staff and other parish groups as they try to help build the parish's liturgical, devotional and prayer life.  Spiritual Life Ministries
